BeatGrid
A downloadable tool for Windows and Linux
BeatGrid is a tiny drum machine in a window. No samples: kick, snare, hi-hat, clap, bass, open hat, tom, cowbell and crash are all synthesized in real time. Click the squares of the 16-step grid to build a beat, then press Play.
Features:
• 9 drum instruments (kick, snare, hi-hat, clap, bass, open hat, tom, cowbell, crash)
• up to 180 patterns played one after another — a full 4-minute loop at 180 BPM
• step-range preview (from–to) that also works across patterns
• save & load of single patterns and whole projects
• light & dark themes, 4 languages (PL/EN/ES/DE), resolutions from 1280x720 to 2560x1440
Great for quick rhythmic ideas, jams and fun. Completely free.
